Application
Hydroxypropyl Methyl Cellulose Ether(HPMC) is mainly used in the dry building materials from the construction industry, including the water-resistant putty powder, putty paste, steel putty, paint glue, thermal insulation mortar and so on. It has a good water retention effect, and it is easy to be constructed with a good luminosity, besides, the viscosity and gel time can be customized according to the requirement of customers.
The main additive in tile glue is Redispersible polymer powder, and hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose plays a supplementary role. It takes about 2~3kg per ton.Our factory is apecilized in producing HPMC for tile glue.
Tile adhesives can be widely used for direct bonding of concrete, brick walls, blocks, gypsum wallboards, cement boards and other base surfaces with ceramic tiles, floor tiles, wall tiles, mosaics, marble, cultural stones and other materials.
Main features of tile adhesive:
1. High bonding strength and fast hardening speed can greatly improve the service life and decorative effect of various paving materials.
2. Convenient construction, only need to process proper amount of water and stir to use. The pasted tiles can be pasted directly without blisters.
3. Excellent compressive strength, tensile strength, water resistance, alkali resistance and weather resistance, not affected by the environment.
4. Good workability, good water retention, workability and anti-sag resistance. During the bonding process, the adjustable time is 10 minutes, and the operating time is 60 minutes.
5. Ultra-thin layer construction can be realized. The thickness of the coating is less than one-half of the traditional process, which saves costs and reduces its shrinkage rate. It will not crack and fall off the decorative adhesive surface due to force.
Tile Adhesive
Good water retention: prolonged opening time will make tiling more efficient. Improved adhesion and sliding resistance: especially for heavy tiles. Better workability: lubricity and plasticity of plaster is ensured, mortar can be applied easier and quicker.
Cement Plaster / Dry mix mortar
Easy dry mix formula due to cold water solubility: lump formation can be easily avoided, ideal for heavy tiles. Good water retention: prevention of fluid loss to the substrates, the appropriate water content is kept in mixture which guarantees longer concreting time. Increased water demand: increased open time, expanded spry area and more economical formulation. Easier spreading and improved sagging resistance due to improved consistency.
Wall putty
Water retention: maximized water content in slurry. Anti-sagging: when spreading a thicker coat corrugation can be avoided. Increased mortar yield: depending on the weight of the dry mixture and appropriate formulation ,HPMC can increase the mortar volume.
Exterior Insulation and Finish System ( EIFS )
Improved adhesion. Good wetting ability for EPS board and substrate. Reduced air entrancement and water uptake.
Self-leveling Mortar
Protection from water exudation and material sedimentation. No effect on slurry fluidity with low viscosity HPMC, while its water retention characteristics improve the finish performance on the surface.
Crack Filler
Better workability: proper thickness and plasticity. Water retention ensures prolonged work time. Sag resistance: improved mortar bonding ability.
